Mr. Smith Goes to Washington
The night of the 2012 election, my wife and I started a new tradtion — watching the classic "Mr. Smith Goes to Washington" while the votes were tallied. It's an inspiring film in a number of ways. So, while watching, I was inspired to design something to commemorate the occasion.

This little catch phrase has come and gone but I still find it humorous. Plus I had just downloaded a new free font, Quicksand, and wanted to play with it some.
Animal Series
One day while working I decided I wanted to hone my illustrator skills by making some of my favorite animals out of fairly basic shapes. Occasionally when I get stuck during a project I jump back to these and find another creature to create. I usually end up doing two at a time. You can tell by the slight variations in style, which ones go together.
I'm not sure if I'll ever use them for anything but it's a fun little side project that I enjoy.
Cat & Dog
I can't remember what prompted these little guys but I hope that one day I can make use of them. I love the simplicity of shape.
